Facebook starts Video Calling Powered by Skype

The Social Network Giant, Facebook reveals video chat powered by Skype. So video calling with Facebook friends is now real.

Facebook announced on its blog ,” So a few months ago, we started working with Skype to bring video calling to Facebook. We built it right into chat, so all your conversations start from the same place. To call your friend, just click the video call button at the top of your chat window.”

Video calling will be available to everyone on Facebook over the next few weeks, but if you don’t want to wait, you can get it now.

You can also create a group chat instantly that is the most requested features on Facebook. To add more friends on group conversation, simply select add friends to chat.

So start using video calling  and bring your conversation to life on Facebook.

Sundarbans-The Largest Mangrove Forest of the World, is one of the Finalists For the New7Wonders

Sundarbans, the largest Mangrove forest in the World,  is enlisted among the 28 finalists in the New7Wonders of Nature. This forest is at the mouth of the Ganges. It is spreading in parts of Bangladesh and West Bengal, India. The Sundarbans has a complex network of tidal waterways, mudflats and small islands of salt-tolerant mangrove forests. The area is known for its varied fauna; with the Royal Bengal Tiger is the most famous, but also many birds, spotted deer, crocodiles and snakes. Jiaozhou Bay Bridge-The world’s longest sea bridge Opened

The Jiaozhou Bay Bridge in China opened to traffic on Thursday, June 30, 2011. It is the longest cross-ocean bridge on the Earth.  It transects Jiaozhou Bay, connecting Huangdao District, the city of Qingdao and Hongdao Island. The Bridge is 42 Kilometers (26 miles) long.

The bridge took 4 years to build, and employed at least 10,000 people. Total 450,000 tons of steel and 2.3 million cubic metres of concrete were used in the construction of the bridge, which was designed by the Shandong Gaosu Group. It is designed to be able to withstand severe earthquakes, typhoons, and collisions with ships. The bridge is supported by more than 5,000 pillars, 35 metres (115 ft) wide, carrying six lanes and two shoulders, and cost more than 10 billion yuan (US$1.5 billion).
